Encouraging Native Bees

There are a number of ways you can encourage the native bees to visit and thrive. Here are four key concepts.

• Encourage native flowering plants.
• Provide nesting sites. 
• Avoid pesticides and herbicides where possible
• Don’t fear the locals. Do be careful around wild honey bees, which are now “Africanized.”
