Together the Tucson Bee Collaborative and Slow food partnered to design and build native insect pollinator skits at the UA Insect festival – 2024.

Cellophane Bees of The Marley Building

Students in the Moore Lab have designed a sign describing the life cycle of the Cellophane bees nesting outside of the Marley Building on the University of Arizona’s campus. If you here are in Tucson during the springtime, come visit us and see the site!

Las Milpitas Community Farm Insect Boxes

Entomology boxes designed by The University of Insect Systematics Class of 2022 displaying insects associated with Tucson garden crops and native plants.

These boxes are housed at the Las Milpitas Community Food Bank Farm in Tucson, AZ and available to gardeners interested in identifying insects they observe on site.
